My Birthday Gift! & Our Christmas Gift

So last weekend our sink ended up leaking badly so Chris and his mom decided to try and fix it! We all went to Lowes and got the parts needed to repair and I begged Chris for a new faucet for my birthday because I have been wanting one for a long time, he said yes! Unfortunately, well not for me, we ended up having to get a whole new sink. Chris's mom decided to buy it for us for our Christmas gift and I am so excited about it, I have always hated our sink, it was hard to keep clean and no matter how much I scrubbed or what products I used stains would remain, my new sink doesn't have this problem! Chris put in the new sink, fixed the leak, and put in the new faucet all by himself. I am so proud of him and he did it pretty fast too! Here are some pictures of our old faucet, I didn't take a pic of the whole sink at the time b/c I didn't know we wouldn't be keeping it, and pictures of our new sink. How sad is it that a sink and a faucet can get me so excited, I guess a lot of things change when you become a grown up!
